For the second year in a row I will be displaying my photographs in the Ely Artwalk! I will have 12 pieces on display in the window of the Brandenburg Gallery at 11 E Sheridan St. in Ely, MN.

The above image, “Boreal Twilight” is a sneak peek of my display and one of my favorite photos from the set. The group of northern Minnesota images represents my most recent work from December 2012 through January 2013. These are some of my favorite spots in the north, and include Lake Superior and the Superior National Forest near Moose Lake. I find myself returning to these places often, to be rewarded with familiar vistas that are always changing. Each of these locations transforms dramatically through the seasons, and the haunting beauty of winter is a facet that I am only now exploring.
